Standard10 year Products Guarantee

B.S.Joinery Services, Harlaw Business Centre, Harlaw Road, Inverurie, here by Guarantee that any sectional building manufactured and supplied with a heat bonded bituminous roofing material, will have an effective Guarantee against Roof Leakage for a period of 10 years from the original date of supply. 

Please note : -The 10 year guarantee is only applicable to buildings which are ordered after 12/12/2007.

( PLEASE KEEP YOUR DELIVERY NOTE/BALANCE INVOICE SAFE   ... No delivery note (balance invoice) no cover ... No exceptions.

In the unlikely event of a defect manifesting itself within the Guarantee period, 

B.S.Joinery Services described as "The Manufacturers" within the following", will at their discretion :-

Repair or replace any part of the felt roofing material free of charge. 

Provided that :- 1.

(a)     The Building was erected by the manufacturers when originally supplied.

(b)     The Foundations on which the building is erected, are level and conform to the recommended specifications set out by the manufacturers.

(c)     Written details of any "ALLEGED" roof leakage are received within one week of its occurrence.

(d)    The Building has not been relocated or modified in any way by any persons other than the manufacturers.

(e)    Failure of the roofing covering "if any", has not been caused by any external forces (e.g. fallen trees).

(f)     Finally ....There must be sufficient room to have access to perform any remedial work at all sides of the building. If you "Shoe - Horn" any building in to a very tight space which leaves insufficient room to work, your guarantee will be null and void!

 2.

(a)     DEFINITION OF ROOF LEAKAGE.....Is water which permeates through the external felt covering from the outside in and not any dampness or mildew on the internal roof surfaces caused by condensation due to natural atmospheric humidity.

(b)     If we are requested to inspect any alleged roof leakage which proves not to have been caused by defective roofing felt, a call out charge will apply.....(minimum charge will be 40.00) depending on where you are. 

(c)     As it is the customers responsibility to prepare any foundations required,  the manufacturers will not be held responsible for any roof leakage problems caused by settlement or subsidence of sub-standard or non-conforming foundations.

(d)    Whilst every care is taken in selecting materials , we cannot give an unqualified Guarantee as timber is of natural origin and is liable to shrinkage, cracking, warping and water absorption due to  varying climatic conditions. Should any of this happen it is in no way a reflection of poor quality materials being used to manufacture any of our products.

(e)     It is the customers responsibility to look after and maintain the building after it has been delivered & erected.   As our buildings are supplied untreated externally, we recommend that you treat the building right after it has been erected, again when it is about a year old, then on an annual basis.

No Guarantee other than that which is clearly stated above, has, is or at any time will be implied stated or offered.      

Effective as of 12th December 2007. 

All delivery note/ balance invoices must be produced as proof of date of supply.

If you cannot produce your original delivery note/balance invoice as will be requested as proof of the date the building was supplied and erected, your guarantee will be void.

If you have asked for any building to be delivered so you can erect it your self there will be no guarantee implied, stated or offered....we cannot guarantee any third parties workmanship.

None of the above contravenes any of your statutory rights

Terms of Business: 

It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that any planning permission along with a building warrant, should they be required, have been approved prior to B.S. Joinery Services erecting any building on to a customers  correctly pre- prepared foundations...We can not and will not be held responsible for any additional expenses or inconvenience encored by any customer who fails to have any necessary local planning authority permissions in place prior to any building being erected ... All deposits placed are non-refundable...The title (ownership) of any product we manufacture and or supply, remains with us and will not be transferred to the purchaser until such time as payment in full has been received.... All balance payments must be made in full with-in 5 working days of any building being delivered and erected ... Should we have to send a reminder to a customer who fails to settle the balance payment with-in the above stated time frame, we reserve the right to re-possess any product or building with-out any further communication with the customer..... By placing any order with B.S. Joinery Services you the customer agree to comply with our terms and conditions of  business in that they are a legal and binding  once an order has been placed.
